Best Buy to offer Apple Watch 
Best Buy will start selling the Apple Watch from 7 August. Best Buy will be the first US retailer, other than Apple Stores, where customers can buy the Apple Watch. It will becopme available at more than 100 Best Buy stores and on BestBuy.com next month and come to another 200 BestBuy stores in time for holiday shopping. Customers will be able to see, try and buy 16 Apple Watch models, including Sport and Watch models in both 38mm and 42mm sizes, and nearly 50 accessories, including watch bands, screen shields, stands, chargers and more.

Best Buy is expanding sales of the Apple Watch to all its stores by the end of next month. Best Buy will sell the Apple Watch in 900 stores starting 04 September, CEO Hubert Joly said during the company's quarterly earnings call. Best Buy quarterly sales improve on smartphone sales

US retailer Best Buy reported an improvement in results for its fiscal second quarter ended 01 August, driven by higher phone sales and the switch to installment plans for mobile devices in the US. The company recorded an increase of 3.8 percent in comparable sales, compared to a fall of 2.2 percent in the year-earlier period. Apple Watch goes on sale in Netherlands

The Apple Watch has gone on sale in the Netherlands. It's available from Apple's website and its shops in Amsterdam, Haarlem and The Hague. Apple has confirmed the launch of its Apple Pay contactless payments service in the UK. This is the second market for Apple Pay, after the initial launch in the US nine months ago. Apple Watch US sales drop 90% since opening week - report

Apple Watch US sales have plummeted by 90 percent since the opening week. The company is selling fewer than 20,000 watches a day, and sometimes fewer than 10,000, reports Market Watch, citing a report from market researcher Slice Intelligence.
