BIPT allows Flux Belgium and MAC Telecom to use WLL frequencies
The Belgian telecom regulator BIPT has awarded two companies a license for using wireless local loop frequencies. In February of this year, the regulator declared open the period of introduction of applications for public telecommunications networks using the local loop in the 3450-3500 MHz / 3550-3600 MHz frequency bands. It then received two applications from two operators: Flux Belgium and MAC Telecom. As the capacity of the frequencies available makes it possible to meet all requests, the BIPT has allowed both operators to use the local loop in the 3450-3500 MHz / 3550-3600 MHz frequency bands.
