Netopia, a market leader in broadband equipment, software and services, today announced that Switzerland's leading ISP, Bluewin, now is shipping Netopia's Wi-Fi CERTIFIED ADSL Gateways in Bluewin's WLAN ADSL Starter Kit available through all Swisscom retail outlets and specialist stores. As an added bonus, Bluewin, in partnership with Swisscom Mobile, is offering customers of its WLAN ADSL Starter Kit free access to surf the Internet at public hot spots.
Bluewin is offering two Netopia Wi-Fi ADSL gateways specifically tailored to the Swiss marketplace. The Netopia 3347W Wi-Fi ADSL Gateway is optimized for Annex A networks, and the Netopia 3357W Wi-Fi ADSL Gateway is designed for Annex B networks. Each WLAN ADSL Starter Kit contains:
- Netopia Wi-Fi ADSL Gateway with 4-port Ethernet switch and 3-D Reach technology
- Netopia 3-D Reach Wi-Fi PC card for laptop computers
- Microfilter (Annex A network) or splitter (Annex B network)
