Brazil ends 2021 with 9.5 million numbers blocking telemarketing calls

Brazil ended 2021 with 9.55 million mobile phone numbers registered on the "Nao Me Perturbe" (Do Not Disturb Me) platform that blocks calls from telemarketing services, reports Conexis. The initiative was set up by telecom operators in 2019 and is part of the sector's self-regulation to improve relations with consumers. Last year alone, more than 2 million numbers were registered.
