Brazilian e-commerce market worth BRL 31.11 billion

The Brazilian e-commerce market closed 2013 with sales of BRL 31.11 billion, up 29 percent from the year before, according to ta report by the Brazilian Association of Electronic Commerce (ABComm), reports Segs. According to ABComm, the year ended with 53 million e-customers. Fashion and accessories, home appliances, health and beauty, electronics and computers were the most outstanding categories in the period. The report expects sales this year to rise 27 percent from the year earlier to BRL 39.5 billion.
