BT plans job cuts as underlying revenues drop 0.9% in Q4

BT ended what it described as a "challenging" financial year with results broadly in line with the revised outlook published in January, when the company issued a profit warning on the back of its accounting problems in Italy. The underlying results for the fourth fiscal quarter were down year-on-year, with a revenue drop of 0.9 percent (excluding transit and adjusted for the acquisition of EE), EBITDA down by 4.6 percent (adjusted for the acquisition of EE) and a 6 percent fall in adjusted profit before tax.
