BT Global Services, BT’s business services and solutions division serving customers worldwide, and Telindus, a leading European expert in data and telecommunications networks, today announced they are furthering their co-operation by launching a joint value proposition around IP Telephony in the Benelux.
VoIP and IP Telephony allow companies to drive down costs associated with their calls, their capex and the management of their communications infrastructure, to reduce their network’s complexity and to gain the opportunity to increase their effectiveness through new applications such as call control, XML, flexworking, unified communications, multimedia conferencing and voice on wireless LAN.
The BT-Telindus IP Telephony Value Proposition combines Telindus IP Telephony capabilities with BT’s IP VPN capabilities in order to allow customers to use IP Telephony technology with minimal business risks, and with all features at hand. Concretely, the BT-Telindus VoIP Value Proposition is a turnkey offer bringing to customers Cisco-based hardware and fully compliant IP software as well as all required network QoS commitments. It also offers managed and outsourced services for the management, security and helpdesk dimensions of the proposition, and supplies the needed consulting and integration know-how.
