C&W to invest USD 35 mln in Caribbean undersea cable system
Cable & Wireless has rolled out the deployment of an undersea fibre-optic cable system, linking Jamaica, the Dominican Republic and the western British Virgin Islands. According to David Shaw, CEO of C&W Caribbean, the operator plans to invest approximately USD 35 million in the cable system deployment and launch.
