Canada qualifies 12 bidders for 700MHz auction
The Canadian government has published the final list of qualified bidders for the upcoming auction of frequencies in the 700 MHz band. These include the existing operators Bell Mobility, Eastlink, Rogers Wireless, MTS, Telus, Sasktel, Videotron, Novus, TbayTel and Wind Mobile, as well as new entrants Feenix Wireless and Catalyst Capital. Three applicants withdrew or did not qualify for the auction. The bidding is expected to start 14 January.
