
Polish satellite TV operator Canal+ has launched its new OTT service Canal+. Subscribers will be able to watch live TV and access VoD content over the service available on numerous devices without any long-term contract.
VoD content from Canal+, HBO, FOX, National Geographic, Paramount, History, Filmbox, BBC, TVN24 and CNN is available under the service, as well as channels Canal+ Sport, nSport+ and Eleven Sports and kids channels MiniMini+, TeleToon+, Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, Disney and Boomerang.
The service is available in any location with internet access to customers with a payment card. It is free during the first month of the use.
The line-up includes a free package, the Film package with also VoD content from Canal+, HBO and Filmbox. Sport, Fun&Info and Kids packages are also available.
The Canal+ service can be used on Android and iOS mobile devices, Android TV and Apple TV devices, internet browsers, as well as Chromecast and AirPlay. The service offers SD (up to 600 kbps), HD (up to 2.5 Mbps) and Full HD (up to 6 Mbps) standards, and 4K content will be offered later.
