Capgemini enters talks to buy Prosodie for EUR 382 million
Global IT services provider and consultancy Capgemini has entered exclusive talks to acquire French multi-channel service operator Prosodie to enter the market for high value-added front-office transaction software and services. Capgemini is now in negotiations with Prosodie's management and Apax Partners. The transaction would be financed in cash from the group's net balance and done based on an enterprise value of EUR 382 million for Prosodie. This includes the cost of Prosodie's two recently-announced acquisitions, Internet-Fr in France and LevelIP in Italy, and its existing operations in Spain. Capgemini and Prosodie expect the operation to be completed by the end of July, subject to standard authorisations, and to be cash accretive to net EPS from the first year.
