The Czech Republic is set to get a fourth mobile operator in the second quarter, writes iDnes. The new operator has been granted numbers and a network code by market regulator CTU. The licence for CDMA services in the 410-430 Mhz band is held by Mobilkom, with ZTE building the network. Rivals T-Mobile and O2 confirmed they had been contacted by the company about arranging interconnection. A spokesman for investment company Penta, which is linked to the new operator, confirmed the launch is set for Q2.
