Chief product officer Hunt leaves Netflix after 18 years

Netflix has announced the departure of Neil Hunt, who has led the product team for the past 18 years. No further details were provided about the exit. Hunt will be succeeded by Greg Peters, who will become chief product officer in July. Hunt most recently has led international development efforts from the Netflix office in Tokyo since 2015. He joined Netflix nine years ago after working at Macrovision, and before that at Mediabolic, Red Hat Network and Wine.com.

Separately, Netflix also announced the departure of chief talent officer Tawni Cranz, who joined the company in 2007. She is leaving the company to pursue other interests.
