
China mobile operators plan infrastructure joint venture

China's three biggest telecom operators confirmed they are in talks about possibly sharing mobile infrastructure. China Mobile, China Unicom and China Telecom said they are considering setting up a joint venture company to develop base station infrastructure. The aim is to share resources in order to lower operating costs and speed up development. No definitive agreement has been reached yet.
