Chorus withdraws dividend guidance
New Zealand fixed network operator Chorus has withdrawn its FY 2014 dividend guidance of NZD 0.255 per share. The withdrawal is due to ongoing regulatory uncertainty facing the company, Chorus said. Earlier this month, the Commerce Commission reduced the UBA prices by 49 percent from 1 December next year. Chorus has said that without government intervention it will need to review a range of matters. The government has meanwhile appointed a consultant to assess Chorus' financial position.
