Comcast and Charter have signed a cooperation deal to help each other break in to the mobile market. The companies will look into opportunities for operational cooperation in their respective wireless businesses and see where they can work together. This might include creating common operating platformsl technical standards development and harmonization, device forward and reverse logistics and emerging wireless technology platforms.
The companies, which each separately activated a MVNO reseller agreement with Verizon Wireless, said they will not make any merger or acquisition deal for the period of one year, without consulting the other.
