Comcast, Verizon show interest in Fox ops as Disney talks cool - report
Comcast and Verizon Communications have both expressed interest in buying parts of 21st Century Fox, Bloomberg said, saying the move comes after talks to sell Fox’s film and TV assets to Disney have cooled. Sources say that Comcast has approached Fox about the assets and that Verizon is also interested in the same collection of holdings.

Disney had sought a stake in European satellite carrier Sky, the National Geographic, FX and Star India cable networks, and the 20th Century Fox film and TV studio, people familiar with the matter said earlier. Comcast would also be interested in Fox’s regional sports networks. Fox would be left with its assets including its cable news outlets and broadcast channel, as well as local stations.
