Comcast's Xfinity Mobile attracts 200,000 subscribers in less than 5 months - report
About 200,000 people have signed up for Xfinity Mobile, Comcast’s low-cost entry into mobile, since April when the product first launched, Bloomberg reported, citing people familiar with the situation. Comcast completed its nationwide roll-out in August. The sources asked not to be named, a warning shot to larger competitors. Comcast declined to comment.

Available to all Xfinity Internet customers, the service includes up to five lines with unlimited nationwide talk and text, and no line access fees. Each Xfinity Mobile customer receives 100 MB of shared data across all lines on the account to get them started, and then can choose from unlimited data for USD 45 per month per line or USD 12 per GB of shared data. Comcast said most customers opt for the latter option.

Comcast relies on the network of Verizon Communications to provide the service.
