Copel Telecom could be worth BRL 1.2 billion

The telecom unit of Brazilian regional energy utility Copel is worth an estimated at BRL 1.21 billion, according to investment bank BTG Pactual, as reported by Reuters. Copel is planning to hold a privatisation auction of Copel Telecom by the end of the year, as part of plans to divest non-core assets.
