CWA files unfair labour practice charges against Verizon

The Communications Workers of America (CWA) union has filed unfair labour practice charges against Verizon Communications for labour law violations in contract contract negotiations covering Verizon, Verizon Wireless and VCSI workers. The CWA is calling on the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) to immediately order Verizon management to drop its refusal to bargain and negotiate in good faith as the law requires. CWA represents 35,000 workers at Verizon and VCSI and about 70 at Verizon Wireless.
