DeTe, France Telecom plan more network cooperation - report

Deutsche Telekom and France Telecom want to combine their networks in Austria and Romania to save money, according to German business newspaper Handelsblatt, citing management sources at France Telecom. The operators already partner in the UK with Everything Everywhere and plan to jointly deploy their 4G network in Poland, which will save several hundreds of million euros by 2015. Deutsche Telekom does not want to commit itself to France Telecom for more countries as it is looking for network partners in all 13 countries where it is active, according to a spokesperson.
