Deutsche Glasfaser invests EUR 500 mln to build 300,000 FTTH connections in Saarland

Deutsche Glasfaser said it plans to build 300,000 FTTH connections in Saarland within the coming years. The company will invest EUR 500 million to expand the FTTH network in the state, CEO Thorsten Dirks said. It introduced the plan at a meeting with Saarland's prime minister Tobias Hans and David Zimmer, founder of Inexio. EQT had merged Deutsche Glasfaser with regional operator Inexio, already owned by EQT Infrastructure through its fund IV.
