Deutsche Telekom is preparing the sale of its T-Systems subsidiary, manager Magazine reported. The company plans to start approaching interested parties in February. The sale could happen in September, the magazine added.
According to Handelsblatt, Telekom is looking to spin-off of T-Systems. It has already discussed the option with the German government, which owns a 30.5 percent stake in Deutsche Telekom. Should that transaction take place, Telekom and the German government would each hold a third of T-Systems, while the remaining third would be sold to investors, the newspaper reported, citing people familiar with the matter.
