Deutsche Telekom introduces new annual 5G prepaid tariff

Deutsche Telekom said it has introduced a new 5G prepaid mobile tariff called MagentaMobil that costs EUR 97.43 per year, paid once annually. New customers will receive a credit of EUR 100 at the time of subscription. The MagentaMobil prepaid 5G can be purchased from 15 September in the Deutsche Telekom Shop and online at telekom.de.

The tariff includes unlimited calls and texts on the Deutsche Telekom network. Customers have 200 minutes per month for calls to all other German networks and 2 GB worth of data. They can surf on the 5G network without extra cost, with the appropriate smartphone. A HotSpot Flat is also included in the tariff. It enables free WLAN access at all Deutsche Telekom HotSpots.

When the options included in the tariff are used up, customers can continue calling for 9 cents per minute or SMS. In other EU countries, the services included in the tariff can be used without additional costs. In Switzerland, customers can benefit from the same amount of internet data offered in Germany.
