Deutsche Telekom has introduced the new MagentaEINS Plus tariffs that bundle landline and mobile services. The plans come with home broadband, unlimited mobile services in Germany and the EU and 1 GB of data for use outside the EU. Customers can subscribe without a minimum contract term and have the flexibility to add extra services and products such as shared data for IoT applications and additional mobile Sims.
The offer comes in two basic plans: MagentaEINS Plus S with up to 100 Mbps home broadband costs EUR 80, and MagentaEINS Plus M offers up to 250 Mbps for EUR 90 per month. Both included unlimited mobile calls, SMS and data, access to 5G, and 1 GB for roaming outside the EU. A fixed line and the security package can be activated free of charge with the tariffs, and customers have the option to add hardware such as a router or smartphone.
In addition, the community option can be activated free of charge for sharing data with up to four Community Cards and four Data Cards. The maximum community speed matches the MagentaEINS Plus rate plan.
The Community Card includes unlimited calls at home and over mobile for EUR 25 per month, plus 5 GB of mobile data also with 5G and EU roaming including Switzerland. The Data Card costs EUR 10 per month and includes 5 GB of mobile data including 5G on a tablet or laptop. The Connect Card for IoT applications such as smart watches costs EUR 5 per month.
Also available is the Teens benefit, which can be activated free of charge for users under the age of 18. The Community Card with Teens benefit costs EUR 10 per month instead of EUR 25 per month.
The new plans will be available online only to a select group of customers to start, before rolling out later to shops and other retail channels. Customers will be able to manage the subscription fully over the MeinMagenta app and web portal, including access to customer service.
