Deutsche Telekom partners with Spotify in Germany
Deutsche Telekom announced an exclusive partnership to offer the Spotify digital music service bundled with its mobile services in Germany. The first mobile tariff with an integrated Spotify Premium Account will be available in October for about EUR 30, the operator said. By the end of the year, the Spotify Premium service will also be available as an add-on option for approximately EUR 10 for Deutsche Telekom's fixed-line and mobile customers. Any online usage of the Spotify streaming service will not count towards customers data allowances. The exclusive agreement will be valid for at least a year. Deutsche Telekom also has a partnership with rival music service Deezer, which it has launched in Austria and the Netherlands.

Play to launch WiMP music service in Poland - report

Polish mobile operator Play, in cooperation with Norway-based streaming service WiMP, plan to launch a digital music service, reports Rpkom.pl without naming its sources. The operator declined to comment on the report. Some of Play's rivals already offer digital music services, such as Orange's cooperation with Deezer. T-Mobile Poland is also expected to launch a service in cooperation with Spotify, according to the report.

Deutsche Telekom has announced new applications and features for the Entertain TV service at IFA 2012. Deutsche Telekom has announced the new LTE Speed option at IFA 2012, supporting internet access on smartphones at speeds of up to 100 Mbps.
