Deutsche Telekom switches over 20,000 3G mobile sites to 4G, 5G

Deutsche Telekom is switching off 20,000 3G mobile sites in order to use the 3G UMTS frequencies for expanding its LTE and 5G networks in future. The company plans to complete the switch-off of the 3G network on 30 June.
