Deutsche Telekom to instal 15,000 more 5G antennas by end of week

For its 5G expansion, Telekom uses both the 2.1 GHz and 3.6 GHz frequency bands. The 15,000 new 5G antennas are transmitting on the 2.1 GHz frequency and in rural areas, the network will more than double its speed in some cases. Customers can surf at up to 225 Mbps. In cities, the network reaches 600-800 Mbps at its peak.
