Deutsche Telekom to put EUR 23.5 bln into home networks

Deutsche Telekom will put EUR 23.5 billion into its German networks over the next five years, Bloomberg reported, saying the money will go into landline and mobile networks, small cells and the digitalisation of infrastructure. CEO Timotheus Hoettges made the announcement in Munich during the Digital Life Design conference, ahead of the company's longer term financial plan set to be unveiled next month at an investor meeting. The company budgeted EUR 23 billion for 2010 to 2015.
