Docomo to offer Sim lock removal from April
Japanese mobile services provider NTT Docomo is offering Sim lock removal services and has launched Docomo Sim cards and micro Sim cards. Customers can ask to have the Sim lock removed from any Docomo device that is sold by the company after 1 April. The unlocking fee is JPY 3,150 (including taxes). Also from 1 April, Docomo is offering Docomo Sim cards (Foma) and micro Sim cards. The cards will be free and customers will pay normal subscriber fees.
