DT offers free mobile internet to compensate router outage

Deutsche Telekom is offering customers a free mobile internet day pass to compensate for a large-scale disruption to its fixed internet services. Excisting DT mobile customers can activate the free pass online, while others need to visit a Telekom shop to receive the offer. The German operator said around 900,000 of its customers, out of a total 20 million on the fixed network, were affected by the problems related to certain routers. It's still investigating exactly which routers are affected, as customers are experiencing different problems, ranging from fluctuations in quality to a total
