Dtac selects Nokia equipment for 5G/4G deployment

Thai operator Total Access Communication (dtac) has selected Nokia to deploy 5G/4G equipment in selected areas of Thailand. Dtac is accelerating the deployment of low band and massive MIMO technology expand its service coverage across the country. According to dtac CTO Prathet Tankuranun, 5G-ready Massive MIMO is currently being deployed to provide higher capacity and a 3-fold upgrade in data services on its 4G network.
