Dutch regulator rejects BT request over KPN leased lines

Dutch regulator Opta has rejected an enforcement request from BT. BT's request concerned the rules for the renting KPN interconnecting lines. The leased lines are used to build corporate networks for internal telephony and data communication. According to BT, KPN has since May 2003 not complied with its cost orientation and non-discrimination obligations. Opta investigated the matter and concluded that there was no breach of the Telecommunications Act.
