EE confirms double-speed 4G, plus new 4G, fibre offers

UK operator EE has announced its next-generation network and a range of new plans and services for faster 4G and fibre broadband services. The operator will officially switch on double-speed 4G in 12 UK cities on 04 July, offering a theoretical maximum speed of 150 Mbps and doubling the current average speeds of 24-30 Mbps. EE will make double-speed 4G available to all existing 4GEE customers, while they remain on their current 4GEE plan. EE will also launch a new range of services on 17 July, including the UK's first Shared 4GEE Plans, allowing customers to connect up to five separate
