Enghouse Systems buys Espial for CAD 56.5 mln

Espial has been bought by Enghouse Systems, a Canadian company specialised in software and services, for CAD 1.57 per share, or a total of CAD 56.5 million. The deal is not subject to any financing condition. The bid is 39 percent higher than the closing price of Espials shares on the Toronto Stock Exchange on 22 March and represents a 35 percent premium to the volume weighted average price over the last 30 trading days.
