
French energy firm Engie announced that it has acquired Swedish company Icomera through its subsidiary ENGIE Ineo, which specialises in infrastructure projects in the energy, transport and telecom sectors. No financial details of the takeover were disclosed.
Founded in 1999, Icomera provides public transport onboard Wi-Fi connectivity systems in several countries. Headquartered in Sweden, it has 150 employees and has subsidiaries in the US, the UK, Germany and France.
