EuNetworks launches euro-one alliance
European fibre-optic network operator euNetworks has launched euro-one, a collaboration of Europe's fibre-optic network providers. Euro-one will deliver infrastructure and IP-based networking services connecting Central, Eastern, Western Europe and North America. Conceived and facilitated by euNetworks, Euro-one is the marriage of the fibre networks of euNetworks (connecting Ireland, UK, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany), e|net (Ireland), Exatel (Poland), Fibrelac (Switzerland), Geo (UK), Hibernia Atlantic (US, Canada, Ireland, UK, Continental Europe), Jazztel (Spain), Neo Telecoms (France), Net4Net (Czech Republic) and Retelit (Italy). The Euro-one collaboration will deliver long-haul to last-mile services under one SLA and one single bill. As all euro-one members distinctively own and operate all-fibre backbone and last-mile metropolitan networks, services are delivered door to door throughout Western, Central, Eastern Europe, the US and Canada.
