Facebook has launched a new mobile messaging application. An extension of Facebook messages, the app allows users to send messages to contacts on Facebook and in the mobile's phone book through notifications and texts. All conversations, whether text, e-mail or chat, are grouped together to see the full history of conversations with contacts. In addition to one-to-one messaging, the app also supports group conversations. Users can also add their location to their messages and attach photos to messages. The app is available free from the Android Market and Apple App Store.
