Facebook has signed a streaming deal with Major League Baseball for about 20 games. More games will be announced at a later date. The partners will stream games every Friday at 7.10 pm, Eastern Time. The first game will be between the Rockies and Reds.
The games will be freely accessible on Facebook via the official MLB page. Each week's Facebook broadcast will feature the feed from a participating team's local broadcast rightsholder.
No financial details around the deal were disclosed.
