Fibia gains 40,000 customers, ends with FY loss after investment in fibre deployment

Danish operator Fibia said it passed a record 70,000 homes through fibre deployment in 2019 and gained 40,000 new customers, bringing its total subscriber base to 160,000. Full year EBITDA was DKK 240 million but Fibia ended 2019 with a loss of DKK 49 million, which CEO Casper Holst-Christensen said was satisfactory given that it had invested approximately DKK 1 billion.
