France Telecom not interested in Everything Everywhere sale
Deutsche Telekom and France Telecom are not interested in selling UK mobile network group Everything Everywhere, reports Reuters citing France Telecom CEO Stephane Richard. Speaking to journalists, Richard said that both partners were happy with the JV and that they had sufficient cash to invest in the business. His comments follow reports that former Everything Everywhere CEO Tom Alexander was talking with private equity firms about a possible GBP 8 billion bid for Everything Everywhere.

France Telecom CEO Stephane Richard has rejected speculation of a merger with Deutsche Telekom. The Board of UK mobile network group Everything Everywhere has approved the payment of an additional dividend of GBP 250 million to shareholders Orange Telecommunications and T-Mobile Holdings, effective as of 28 June. They will each receive GBP 125 million. The payment of this additional dividend will be funded through available liquidity at end-June.
