French operator Free Mobile has extended its "Pass Destination" roaming service to all EU member states. From 7 July, customers can roam like home across the EU. This includes unlimited calls and SMS/MMS within the country they are visiting and to France, and 3 GB per month of roaming, for 35 days per year, per country. The offer is available to all customers without having to wait 60 days after subscribing to become eligible. Free has dropped this condition on all of its destination passes. The new offer makes Free one of the first movers in anticipating zero roaming in the EU, due to start in June 2017.
