Freenet revenues up 2.6% in Q3, EBITDA supported by one-time gains

Thursday 8 November 2018 | 10:32 CET | News
German operator Freenet maintained its full-year outlook after reporting in-line third-quarter results. Quarterly revenues rose 2.6 percent year-on-year to EUR 902.7 million, led by continued growth in the postpaid mobile base. EBITDA, excluding its stake in Swiss operator Sunrise, was up 11.8 percent to EUR 123.2 million, helped by a one-time gain of EUR 18.4 million from the sale of analogue radio infrastructure. The latter should help the company reach the high end of its annual EBITDA forecast of EUR 410-430 million excluding Sunrise, Freenet said.
