French govt consults on charges for 2.6 GHz TDD spectrum for PMR networks

Monday 29 January 2018 | 15:52 CET | News
The French ministry of the economy has published a public consultation on the method of calculating the charges for using the 2.6 GHz TDD band (2570-2620 MHz) in professional mobile radio (PMR) networks. The inclusion of this method will amend decree 2007-1532, dating 24 October 2007, with the rules determining the charges for the authorisations issued by telecom regulator Arcep, which identified the 2.6 GHz TDD band as suitable for LTE-based PMR networks in 2017.
