Gameloft, the publisher of games for mobile phones, and Tiscali, the leading Internet services provider in Europe, are happy to announce that Gameloft games can now be purchased for download directly from the Tiscali portal: http://www.tiscali.fr/mobile/. The whole Gameloft catalogue is available to all Tiscali subscribers: the latter are identified by a code, they request and approve the game purchase, and their Tiscali bill is automatically debited 4 euros per game, without the need to communicate a bank card number. As with other purchasing methods, the game is then sent to them and, once downloaded, is constantly available off-line on the mobile.
"This is the first time we've offered this direct, web-payment solution through ISP invoice to our customers, and we're extremely satisfied with the ease with which the project was set up with Tiscali," says Ludovic Blondel, Gameloft's Business Development Manager. "We're very careful to ensure that choosing and purchasing a game is as simple and fun as playing the game itself, and this agreement is perfectly in keeping with that goal."
"This partnership enables us to offer our subscribers an even broader range of top-quality services for use on devices other than their PCs," says Hervé Simonin, Tiscali's Deputy CEO.
