Genexis wins 5 FTTH deals in Germany, Austria, Netherlands

European fibre-to-the-home networks developer Genexis has signed multiple contracts for the delivery of FTTH gateways to different European projects. The company has won five new projects in Germany, Austria and the Netherlands. The Genexis FTTH system will be rolled out in Germany by Stadtwerke Neumunster. Its consultant Netzkontor Nord selected the Genexis 100 Mbps Ethernet gateway, enabling triple play services, including RF video overlay over a single fibre. The Genexis management and provisioning system Gaps has been selected, enabling provisioning and day-to-day operation. More cities in the north of Germany will soon follow SWN Stadtwerke Neumunster by rolling out FTTH based on the same system. Hohentengen, a town in the south of Germany, has also selected the Genexis optical gateways. Wilhelm.Tel has also deployed the Genexis managed gateway in its FTTH network in Germany, while Xlink has implemented the same product in Austria. Internet provider Solcon is also using the Genexis optical gateways for its FTTH services in Dronten and thirteen other Dutch cities.
