Gigaset to market new G4 senior smartphone for EUR 279

Gigaset said it will introduce the new G4 senior smartphone from the end of July in the colour deep black in shops and on its webshop, for EUR 279. This is the next generation of its senior smartphone designed to make it easy for older people to communicate. The device is equipped with a screen for up to eight applications, camera with 16 MP resolution and three lenses, LED flash and a selfie camera with 13 MP above the display in a small notch. The display is in full HD+ resolution with a diagonal of 6.3 inches. The protective cover ensures that the GS4 senior with its hard glass on the back is resistant to damages.

The G4 senior has a 4,300 mAh battery and a triple card slot. Users can use a memory card with up to 512 GB space and in addition a second SIM card. The GS4 senior has also an emergency call button on the start page. Users can call the saved emergency number 112 or personal numbers. The device dials the numbers until a contact is established. The device can also send emergency SMS to pre-selected numbers with a pre-formulated message and the location of the person.
