Cisco and converged communications specialist Personeta partner to deliver a fixed-mobile converged voice system to Bulgarian operator Globul. The system supports Globul's mobile virtual private network and Office Zone services, mVPN and Office Zone, for business communications networks. Via the mVPN service companies can create a virtual private network for mobile phones and corporate desk phones, while the Office Zone service enables users to select a fixed-line number for a mobile phone and make calls with preferential rates. Moreover, users can access one mailbox for messages from mobile and fixed networks. The Mobile Office system offers access to services such as the extension of existing private branch exchange features to traditional, IP and mobile handsets, the ability to integrate communications functionality with existing PBXs and support for a unified dialing plan across customer premise equipment.
