Google launches Buzz on more devices
Google has launched an XHTML version of the Google Buzz website, which can be accessed from many other mobile devices, including those running Android pre-2.0, Blackberry, Nokia S60, and Windows Mobile. When Buzz was launched in February, it was only available for devices running Android 2.0+ and iPhone. When users log-in to buzz.google.com in their browser, they will be able to view the stream of buzz posts, post publicly or privately, comment or like a post. On the BlackBerry platform, users can also enable location through their browser settings. This will allow them to get to the Nearby view, where they will find geo-tagged posts near them. In addition, they can tag the post with location. Google Buzz is now available in 37 languages and will bring it to mobile devices with browsers that do not support the HTML5 capabilities the web application uses.
