Google has priced its public offering of USD 3 billion aggregate principal amount of its notes. The public offering consists of USD 1 billion of 1.25 percent notes due 2014, USD 1 billion of 2.125 percent notes due 2016 and USD 1 billion of 3.625 percent notes due 2021. Google expects to receive net proceeds from this offering of approximately USD 2.97 billion, after deducting underwriting discounts and estimated offering expenses. Google intends to use the net proceeds to repay outstanding commercial paper and for general corporate purposes.
